The FOLD collection, designed by Barbieri Magalini for Prodital Leather, is a series of Nabucco leather artworks inspired by the ancient Japanese art of origami. Through this creation, the creative duo Barbieri Magalini shifts the focus from the material, leather, to the creative process, immortalising a crucial moment in the origami creative process: the first fold. Each piece represents a canvas of solids and follows a strict colour scheme, reflecting their rationalist and essentialist aesthetic.

THE EXHIBITION

Edit Napoli

The FOLD series of artwork, designed by creative duo Barbieri Magalini for Prodital Leather, was presented at EDIT Napoli, in the prestigious setting of the Archivio di Stato. The exhibition experience, curated by MM Company, was reminiscent of the museum world, as a reflection of the value of the works: 3 artworks framed by the location's precious frescoes, an audio guide in two languages and a leaflet.
